That’s why we offer flexible payment plans through Humm and Fund My Dental, making it easier to manage the cost of emergency treatments.
If you’re unsure about the expenses involved in emergency dental care, please contact us. We’ll do our best to assist you in finding a suitable approach.

Please make your way to the practice promptly, but give us a call first so we can get ready for your arrival or book an appropriate time for you.
We’ll let you know what you may be able to do at home before heading to the practice, offering guidance to help you manage the concern. Whenever possible, reach out to us immediately after the incident or at the start of the day.
Being seen promptly often supports a more favourable outlook for your dental concern.
Once we assess the issue, we’ll go over how complex it is and the possible approaches that may help manage your symptoms. If appropriate, we may begin treatment straight away. If same-day care isn’t required, we may offer a temporary solution and plan for ongoing care.
Using our diagnostic technology, we can determine how significant the concern is, giving you clear information to support your decision-making. We’ll aim to walk you through a range of appropriate care pathways for you to choose from.
Emergency treatments vary, depending on the nature of your concern. It could be that you need a small filling or even something more complex like a root canal. You’ll play an active part in the planning process. In the meantime, the most important thing is to address your pain.
Time is of the essence. For broken or knocked-out teeth, it’s important to keep the fractured portion hydrated. Take care not to handle it by the root, if possible. Store the tooth in a sealed container so that you won’t lose it.
Keep the tooth covered in a suitable liquid, such as saline, milk, or contact solution. If unavailable, tap water mixed with a little salt will do. It’s important to bring the tooth to us within one to two hours so we can attempt reattachment or reimplantation.
Most toothaches require dental care and don’t generally resolve without it. While you wait for your visit, an over-the-counter anti-inflammatory taken as directed can help reduce swelling. You can also apply a cool compress to the outside of your face for temporary relief.
If you have significant facial swelling or bleeding that does not ease with firm pressure, please go straight to the nearest emergency room.
If you’re in pain or experiencing a dental emergency, contact us straight away.
